New York, New York!

Okay, get this. Back in 2005, my dad took me to New York for summer vacation. For me, I enjoyed exploring the Big Apple. One time when we were in Times Square, we went to a Virgin Megastore, browsed around the shop, and got myself a music CD of an artist. That artist was Common. Another shop I checked out was Tower Records. We looked around at some merchandise, look at some videos, DVDs, records, collectible toys, CDs, others. I even saw a talking Homer Simpson figure saying that lines from a Treehouse of Horror special. We even got to see the museum of modern art. Like that one other time, I saw that painting from Roy Lichtenstein with a picture of the drowning girl, and I thought that distracted me. Boy was I wrong! I got to stick to that WHAM! painting though. Also Justin Bua, Andy Warhol's Campbell Soup Cans, Picasso, Robert Rauschenberg, Keith Haring, Mondrian, etc.  There's another museum that I haven't seen in my life where there's an exhibit of Henson's work on the Muppets including Sesame Street... The Museum of the Moving Image. It's got The Jim Henson Exhibition with a timeline of Muppet production. Someday when I visit NYC again, I wanna check out that other museum. We also know that New York is the home of the famous Statue of Liberty in which I remember seeing. It's also the home of many Broadway shows, Rockefeller Center, Coney Island, Katz's Delicatessen, Central Park, 30 Rock, those subway trains, and of course Saturday Night Live. In case you didn't know, there's also a place on how to get to Sesame Street in real life. Pretty cool, huh. You know something... Someday, I might get to visit NYC again. Cause to be honest, I haven't visited there like a decade since 1999 and 2005. Like this one time, my family and I got to visit relatives there. There was Uncle Paul, Aunt Tish, and my other cousins. I gotta tell you, one of my cousins love TV, movies, and music. I never forget the time I burnt a music mix on a blank CD. I really enjoyed them a lot. We also got to visit my other relatives/cousins. I even got to have my very own Jim Jam CD. I also got to have the Beastie Boys mix CDs though. You gotta love hip hop. Those were the days I really enjoyed visiting the city of New York. It's like taking me back to '99. I always thought one other thing that helps me. That is if I were to visit NYC again, I might even go to Times Square, take a look around, and say to myself "Live from New York, it's A.J. Alexander!", famous for its opening line on SNL. Another time I remember is when I got to see Linda also, we were in a taxi cab there, we got out, and walked around the city. We even got to enjoy some ice cream. I liked the white chocolate flavor. I'll never forget that time I got to use the computer and make music. That was fun. There was also the time we all wanted to a place we're we ate lunch there back in the day. That was the world famous Jekyll and Hyde Club. You may not have noticed that the replica of this place looked like the story, and felt like you're inside a laboratory. You can also tell by looking at King Tut's animatronic face. That entrance we went into was pure "allegory"!

"Allegory: A story where the characters stand for abstract ideas. For example, good and evil."

And I also got to mention this. Did you also know that Sesame Street is know a real place? Well, now you do. Since it's popular back in the day on PBS.

I've always wanted to be a part of it like the theme song said. So, now you know.
