Every year, my family and I take a trip to California to visit my Aunt Leta and Uncle Mark at Scotts Valley. My cousin Ryan lives in L.A. and I enjoyed talking to him on the phone. My second cousin Brendan is having the time of his life. And Shannan and Miles along with baby Kieran is living the good life on San Francisco. Whenever I'm hanging out in the golden state, my dad and I listen to KPIG whenever we go for a drive. I always enjoy the beach and have thrills at the boardwalk. Back in 2005, my cousins and I once went to Paramount's Great America. I enjoyed all the roller coaster rides and we all lived like movie stars. When I was a teenager, I visited my grandma Rose and Grandpa Joe that time too. Like this one time, I took them to Chuck E. Cheese's for lunch, those arcade games really got me going. Always. There's also this one time that I took them both to the California Science Museum courtesy of the Bart train. I even got to visit my grandma Helen also. She was so happy to see me. Last year at the boardwalk in the summer of 2019, I got to see Papa Do Run Run perform. The surf music revolution continues at the beach once again. When I enjoy visiting California with my family, I will always remember all the good times I had hanging out there. And as usual, I've been thinking about coming back to California sometime in the future. I'll never forget the time in 2005 when I celebrated the 4th of July with Leta and Mark. It started when we were at the park and we saw the fireworks blaze through the skies. It was a great time to celebrate the 4th of July in California. After that, we had a backyard barbeque at the Klavers' house. My dad and I will always enjoy going to Jack In The Box anytime we want something to eat. Dad really enjoys the Jack tacos and I enjoy the Jack burger with curly fries and a shake. Everybody loves Jack In The Box especially the Klavers and my dad too. And this is where I got slimed by my cousins for the first time. And for decades, I have waited for this my whole life.
You know what I wanna do next when I'm in California? I wanna sample out a place in Santa Cruz. That place I saw is called Samba Rock Acai Cafe. That will be one of my new things I would like to do. I also wanna check out a music store called Streetlight Records. I really would like to see what music they got in store. My dad and I would also wanna sample out some new restaurants like the Saturn Cafe, or the Santa Cruz Diner. Whichever one I choose.
